Decluttering

Home decluttering: finding a lighter interior

Ōra supports you in decluttering, sorting and reorganising your home in Belgium — a human, structured process, never a rushed clear-out.

A shared experience

When clutter becomes hard to manage.

A room that isn't really usable anymore. Belongings accumulated over the years, without quite knowing why. The feeling of not having enough time, or being overwhelmed by the scale of the task. That quiet but very real mental load a cluttered home creates.

These are situations I see very often — there is nothing unusual about reaching this point. That is exactly why outside support can make all the difference.

The method

Decluttering, the Ōra way.

01Observe

Understanding your habits and needs before any decision.

02Sort

Deciding together what stays, gets passed on, given away or moved.

03Organise

Creating functional spaces, designed around your daily life.

04Stabilise

Setting up a system that holds up over time.

Why get support

An outside perspective changes everything.

01

An outside perspective, without judgement

A neutral, caring presence that helps you see your home differently.

02

Easier decisions

Sorting alone is often the hardest part. Having support makes every decision lighter.

03

A method suited to your daily life

No generic system — the organisation is designed around how you actually live.

04

An organisation designed to last

The goal isn't a photogenic result, but a space that stays functional over time.

A human approach, not a rushed service.

A caring approach that respects the story and value of every belonging. No judgement on how the space got there. An organisation designed for real life, not for a photo — that's the difference between tidying faster and creating a system that lasts.

Frequently asked questions

FAQ

How does a home decluttering session work?

The process starts with a conversation to understand your situation, followed by a diagnosis of the space. Then comes sorting, done together, followed by organising and setting up a lasting system, with a follow-up after the session.

Do I need to throw things away before you arrive?

No, no preparation is needed. You can leave the space as it is — that is exactly what we will work on together, at your own pace and according to your own decisions.

What is the difference between tidying and decluttering?

Tidying puts things back in place. Decluttering questions why they pile up, helps you decide what is genuinely useful or loved, and sets up a system so the space stays functional over time.

How much does a decluttering session cost?

The price depends on the volume of belongings, the space involved and the time required. Sessions start from €180 for a 3-hour Ōra Session; full pricing details are available on the Services page.

Do you work on a single room or a whole house?

Both. The support can focus on a single space (dressing room, kitchen, attic...) or extend to the whole house, depending on your needs and project.
